JOB APPLICATION

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Develop products to meet internal and customer specifications and requirements.
• Support manufacturing on products currently in production
• Develop engineering project timetable to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate product development with customers, suppliers, and all COAST-TO-COAST departments (i.e. sales, engineering, quality, etc.)
• Develop validation test plans to ensure design changes meet internal and customer requirements
• Lead design reviews for product releases
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with customers, suppliers and other COAST-TO-COAST departments
• Local and international travel; Customers, suppliers, manufacturing and trade show etc.

Education, Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years experience in custom manufacturing engineering and product development
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with manufacturing processes and materials
• Experience in defining design requirements using industry standards
• Problem solving skills
• Tolerance stacks analysis
• Experience with injection molding, stamping processes and tooling
